Description
Going through my old sketchbooks and portfolios, I came upon this sketch from 2006 - a portrait of my Matrix Online Vixens faction mate - and eventually leader - Asagi.
Yes folks, THIS was her signature look in the game - just a long coat (and high heels) and nothing else. While female characters by default wore generic black underwear, if they wore an open coat without a top underneath, their avatars were depicted as being topless underneath. And of course, smoker that she was, it was only natural to include her cigarette.
The Matrix Online eventually ended in 2009. My fellow players migrated to other MMOs - most notably Star Wars: The Old Republic and The Secret World. Nowadays, I just stick to my Xbox 360 (and Facebook), but I still have fond memories of my time in MxO.
So when I unearthed this piece yesterday, I decided to ink and color it.
Inked with Copic Multiliners, colored in PS CS2.
