Sakura n Hinata

A cute, sexy sketch of Sakura and Hinata from Naruto for . I'd been itching to do more Naruto fan art, so I was more than happy to take this on.

The biggest challenge was finding the right poses for each of them. I revised the pencil draft twice before finally settling on the poses seen here.

When it came time to color this piece, I used the approach was kind enough to share with me at PMX last month - coloring the darker areas first, then overlaying and expanding the colored area with the lighter tones.

Without a doubt, this coloring approach worked out far better than the lighter-tones-first one I'd been using all these years.
